My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU

Hachiman Hikigaya is an isolated high school student who does not believe in bright social stories, and he writes about that worldview loudly enough to get punished for it. His teacher forces him into the Service Club, a place meant to «help» other students, which sounds harmless until Hachiman realizes it means walking straight into people’s insecurities and unspoken rules. The club is led by Yukino Yukinoshita, sharp and uncompromising, and later pulled toward Yui Yuigahama, who tries to keep the air from turning toxic. Each request the club takes becomes a small social battle, and Hachiman’s solutions are effective but uncomfortable, because he is willing to make himself the villain if it ends the problem. Over time, the real pressure shifts inward, as the three of them are forced to admit what they want from each other and what they are afraid to say out loud.
