Kazuma and the gang get two extra side quests that feel small at first, then immediately spiral. In «Red Stream Explosion!», Luna brings them a personal request at the guild: a typhoon is closing in on Axel, and the only way to push it back is Megumin’s Explosion. Yunyun and Wiz jump in, the adventurers hype themselves up for a big showdown, and Kazuma cannot stop staring when he sees what everyone chose to wear for the «battle». In «Beware of Impostors!», a winter food stall moment turns weird when a stranger approaches Kazuma while he is eating skewers, saying he is looking for the adventurer «Satou Kazuma». Kazuma agrees to talk in exchange for dinner, starts telling stories about «Satou Kazuma» like a legend, and the stranger and his three female party members get so moved they tear up, which is exactly when Kazuma realizes something is off.
