Momo Ayase grew up around the occult, so she is sure ghosts are real and aliens are nonsense. Ken Takakura is the opposite. He is obsessed with UFO stories and thinks spirits are a joke, so they make a reckless bet and split up to prove each other wrong. The result is a double disaster. Momo runs into something that looks exactly like an alien abduction, while Ken gets dragged into a cursed encounter that turns his life into a horror story. Instead of getting a clean win, both of them come back with problems that will not go away. Momo discovers a power in herself that she never trained for, and Ken ends up tied to a curse that keeps pulling him toward the supernatural. With no adults willing to believe what happened, they are forced to work together, chasing rumors, confronting monsters, and trying to survive the next encounter long enough to understand the rules. What starts as petty bravado becomes a messy partnership built on panic, stubborn pride, and the shared realization that the world is full of things that do not care what you believe.
