2.5 Dimensional Seduction

Masamune Okumura runs the school manga club alone and is perfectly content to keep real romance at arms length. His devotion is aimed at one fictional heroine, Liliel, and he treats that obsession like a vow that protects him from messy feelings. That bubble bursts when Lilysa Amano joins the club. Lilysa is a first year with serious cosplay ambition, and she wants Okumura to photograph her as Liliel, because cosplay is her way to express love for the character with total sincerity. Okumura expects to stay emotionally detached, but the work pulls him in. Photo shoots become practice, practice becomes events, and events become a gateway into a community where people build confidence by embodying what they love. As more classmates and fellow cosplayers appear, the club stops being a lonely shrine and turns into a space where relationships form through effort, embarrassment, rivalry, and mutual respect. Okumura has to learn that supporting someones passion means taking it seriously, not treating it as a joke or a fantasy. Lilysa has to learn how to handle attention, pressure, and her own expectations as she chases a version of Liliel that feels real to her.
