Shoot! Goal to the Future

Shoot! Goal to the Future is a 2022 soccer anime that continues the world of Tsukasa Ooshima's classic manga Shoot! with a new generation of players at Kakegawa High School.

Atsushi Kamiya was once the captain of Kakegawa's soccer team and has since become world-renowned as the courageous captain of a famous Italian club. Hideto Tsuji is a current student at the same school, and he seems completely uninterested in the soccer team, which has fallen far from its former glory.

When the two meet, it marks the start of a new legend. Through his encounter with Kamiya, Hideto is drawn toward the sport and the struggling club, and the story follows the effort to rebuild the team and recapture the spirit that once made Kakegawa strong. The series combines on-field matches with themes of inheritance and passion, as the legacy of the old generation inspires the new one.
