The Demon Girl Next Door 2

Summer in Tama City begins as if the town itself has decided to play along with Yuko Yoshida's strange destiny. The schoolgirl with horns and a tail, whom her ancient ancestor Lilith solemnly calls the Shadow Mistress Shamiko, still has too little power, too many debts and nowhere near enough villainous grandeur. Long ago her family, descendants of the Dark Clan, fell under a curse of the Light and were doomed to poverty, while Yuko herself was handed a "great" mission: defeat the magical girl Momo Chiyoda and restore the demons' former honor. But instead of a blood feud, something far more complicated has long since grown between them: Momo trains Shamiko, Shamiko tries to look after Momo, and the line between enemies, allies and something close to family dissolves in the little things of daily life. In the second season their fragile alliance grows even closer: Mikan moves in next to Yuko, Momo soon follows, and the quiet apartment complex turns into a small headquarters where tea, sukiyaki and homework sit side by side with ancient seals, demonic artifacts and secrets dating back a decade.
