Solo Camping for Two

Gen Kinokura is a dedicated solo camper who treasures quiet routines, simple food, and the feeling of not having to talk to anyone. Then Shizuku Kusano crashes into his world. She is new to camping, full of questions, and stubborn enough to latch onto Gen as her teacher whether he likes it or not. Gen tries to keep his distance, but Shizuku keeps showing up with raw determination and the kind of honesty that makes it hard to stay cold. Their deal becomes strange but clear: Shizuku learns how to camp properly by following Gen’s lead, and Gen gets his solitude «back» later, once she can stand on her own. In practice, it turns into shared trips where they argue about basics, fix mistakes in real time, and slowly build trust through small, practical wins. It is still solo camping, just with someone beside you.
