Yasuke

The journey turns out to be more than just a trial of the road. Yasuke is forced to remember why he once swore loyalty to his lord: he recalls his service under Nobunaga, the betrayal, and the battle at Honno-ji. Together with Saki he faces mercenaries and demonic forces, and every fight reminds him of everything he has lost and everything he tried to run away from.

By the finale they reach the castle of the Dark Daimyo, where they discover that a magical warlord is behind all their troubles. At the decisive moment Saki pulls Yasuke out of a magical trap, and together they break the power of darkness. Afterward they do not return to their old lives: Yasuke is no longer just a recluse but a man who has embraced his destiny, keeping the sword in his hands not for the sake of power but to protect those who need it.
