Flum Apricot is chosen by divine prophecy to join the hero’s party against the Demon Lord, even though every number used to judge fighters marks her as useless. Her Affinity, Reversal, leaves her with zero stats, so she becomes the person who cooks, carries, cleans, and keeps the group steady while stronger members fight. Cyrill treats her as a friend, but the sage Jean sees only dead weight. He sells Flum into slavery behind the party’s back and tells the others she left on her own. In the capital, Flum is bought, chained, and thrown into a fight meant to kill her for entertainment. With no weapon except a cursed sword, she reaches for the blade and learns what Reversal truly does. It turns negative force into strength.

Flum escapes with Milkit, another slave whose face and spirit have been damaged by years of abuse. Their first goal is not revenge but a room, food, medicine, and a life where no one owns them. That peace keeps being interrupted by slavers, criminals, church agents, monsters, and people connected to the hero’s broken party. Flum uses the cursed sword because its poison and pain become weapons in her hands, but each fight reminds her how close survival is to losing herself. Milkit slowly learns to choose, speak, and trust without calling freedom another form of service. As the truth around Origin, the church, Mother, and unnatural children begins to surface, Flum’s escape turns into resistance against a system that treats weak people as material. She keeps fighting because an ordinary life with Milkit can exist only if the forces that sold them are cut down first.
