Beauty Water

In a small town lived an ordinary girl named Yaeji, plain in appearance, who dreamed of beauty and of being unique. She considered herself a gray mouse among brilliant butterflies and spent a great deal of time in front of the mirror every day, trying to improve her looks. One day, while wandering the streets of the old town, she happened upon a mysterious little shop hidden in the shadows of a narrow alley. Inside, the girl found a small bottle labeled "Beauty Elixir." Her curiosity got the better of her reason, and she bought it without much thought. Once home, Yaeji unexpectedly decided to try out the mysterious elixir.

Following the instructions, she carefully applied a few drops to her face. To her amazement, her reflection in the mirror began to change right before her eyes. Carried away by her new discovery, she began to reshape her face as if sculpting it from clay. Enchanted by her new abilities, Yaeji could not stop. She altered her features and created different looks, dreaming each time of becoming more and more beautiful. But with every use of this miracle remedy, the girl noticed that her craving for perfection was growing ever more insatiable. And the joy of such a transformation soon turned to bitterness.
