The Klutzy Class Monitor and the Girl with the Short Skirt

Tougo Sakuradaimon stands at the school gate every morning with a clipboard and a strict sense of duty. He watches uniforms, hair, late arrivals, and every small rule that other students ignore. His main problem is Poemu Kohinata, a bright and outspoken girl whose light hair and short skirt break the dress code almost daily. To Poemu, Tougo is only an annoying prefect who ruins mornings with lectures. To Tougo, Poemu is a repeat offender who refuses to understand order. Their routine changes when they are placed together in supplementary class. Poemu discovers that the serious monitor who scolds everyone is weak at studying, especially mathematics, and is far less capable than his public image suggests.

That discovery gives both of them leverage. Poemu can tease Tougo about his grades, while Tougo can keep calling out her uniform violations. Their arguments continue, but the distance between them changes. Tougo begins helping when Poemu gets pulled into trouble, and Poemu starts noticing that his strictness is clumsy rather than cruel. Her friends watch the two grow closer and interfere when they think Poemu is acting strange. Tougo’s own friends from the health and library committees also get drawn into the daily clashes, turning rule checks, study sessions, and after school errands into shared problems. Poemu dislikes hearing him use her unusual given name, so she answers by calling him by his first name too. What began as discipline at the school gate becomes a relationship built from weaknesses they were not supposed to see. Tougo learns that rules cannot explain every person, and Poemu learns that the boy correcting her skirt length is also someone trying hard not to fail in front of others.
