In a world where the sky is shrouded in an endless rain of dark ash and the ground is covered by a layer of it, humanity faces a terrible threat. This ash does not simply settle on surfaces; it burns and corrodes human flesh. To survive, people were forced to wear protective suits and hide their faces behind enormous masks. Thus, wrapped up and unrecognizable, they took refuge deep underground, sheltering from the deadly danger.

This story follows the children growing up in this frightening world. Their lives are spent in underground shelters, where every day is filled with fear and uncertainty. Yet even in such conditions, amid darkness and danger, they learn to live, to dream and to hope for a better future. Their path is full of trials, but it is precisely this path that shapes their character and gives them the strength to fight for their lives and their freedom.
