Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao keep working under Nadutong after the Biyou Village incident, but the search for Baobao’s origin moves from scattered clues to older secrets. Chulan visits Lu Jin and obtains information connected to the Thirty Six Thieves, the group whose choices still shape the hidden world of Outcasts. The same trail explains why Jin Feng was abducted and points toward the legacy of Wu Gensheng. Chulan cannot treat the matter as a private mystery anymore, because anything tied to Wu Gensheng can draw sects, families, and wandering fighters who want relics, techniques, or leverage. That transport draws Bihe Ninjas who want the sword, forcing the pair into fights where politics, contracts, and old grudges matter as much as raw power. Chulan has to read each side before choosing how far to reveal his own strength, while Baobao handles danger with her usual directness and almost no concern for appearances.
