Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Britannia conquers Japan and calls it Area 11. Exiled prince Lelouch hides at Ashford Academy and swears to topple the empire for Nunnally. In a crossfire he meets C.C., gains a Geass that lets him command anyone once, and puts on the Zero mask. The Black Knights rise as he turns street fights and Knightmare skirmishes into staged victories. His friend Suzaku joins Britannia and pilots the Lancelot, which forces Lelouch to sharpen every plan. Princess Euphemia tries to end the war with a Special Administrative Zone, but a slip of Geass drives her into a massacre and Lelouch ends it with a shot. The rebellion collapses, memories are stolen, and the next act resets the board. Lelouch regains himself, bends the court with Geass, makes Suzaku the Knight of Zero, and seizes the throne. The last plan is Zero Requiem. Lelouch gathers the world’s hatred and rides a parade meant to crown a tyrant. Zero appears, stabs him in full view, and the crowd sees a new peace begin while Nunnally clutches what he chose.
