Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemist Knight

Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc and the Alchemist Knight is set in the 15th century, during the conflict between France and England. The protagonist is an aristocrat named Montmorency who decides to study magic and enrolls in a special school for knights. There he studies alchemy and sorcery, but during one battle the French army is defeated by the English, and as a result the school is disbanded. This forces the protagonist to leave the academy and set out on his travels.

Realizing that his life will never be the same, the young alchemist flees, fearing pursuit by English soldiers. Quite by chance, he meets a girl named Jeanne along the way. Until then Montmorency had avoided other people, since he had been accused of witchcraft and therefore could not stay in one place for long. But meeting Jeanne changes everything, and now the aristocrat decides to stay by her side. Together they will have to face many dangers and hardships and confront their own fears. What will happen to them next?
