Space Brothers #0

Space Brothers #0 is a prequel film to the Space Brothers TV anime, based on Chuya Koyama's manga about the brothers Mutta and Hibito Nanba.

As children, the two brothers shared a dream of going to space. In the main series, the younger Hibito has already become an astronaut, while the older Mutta has to rediscover that dream after his life takes an unexpected turn. This film goes back to the beginning and focuses on the origin of that dream.

It shows the events that came before the TV series, depicting the path that led the brothers to where they are when the main story begins, and the determination it took to pursue a goal as distant as space itself.

Told with the same warmth, humor and quiet realism as the series, Space Brothers #0 is a story about family, ambition and the bond between two siblings who never stopped looking up at the sky.
