Witch Watch

Morihito Otogi, a serious high schooler descended from ogres, is ordered to become the familiar of his childhood friend Nico Wakatsuki, a clumsy witch-in-training who returns home after her studies. They start living together, and Morihito treats it like a duty: keep Nico safe from a disaster that has been predicted for her. Nico is thrilled to see him again and hopes their new life will turn romantic, but her magic keeps going sideways. A spell meant to help can backfire and pull classmates into chaos, so Morihito spends his days containing the fallout while Nico keeps trying again. Their household grows when other supernatural teens get involved, including the blunt tengu Kanshi Kazamatsuri and the werewolf Keigo Magami, who flips into a violent alternate self when he sees a crescent shape. Even a proper witch, Nemu Miyao, enters the picture, determined to recruit Morihito as her familiar. Between school events and sudden magical emergencies, Morihito learns that protecting Nico also means surviving her good intentions.
