given The Movie: To the Sea

given The Movie: To the Sea continues the story of the band Given and the relationship between Ritsuka Uenoyama and Mafuyu Sato, adapting the later part of Natsuki Kizu's music and romance manga.

After a chance encounter with Mafuyu reignited his passion for music, guitarist Ritsuka found a new reason to play, and together with Haruki and Akihiko they formed Given. Now the band seems to be on the path to greatness, but Mafuyu begins to question whether he should really be the group's singer.

When Ritsuka invites him to a concert in Shibuya, Mafuyu turns him down. Not long after, he runs into an old friend, and the meeting may be the sign he needs to step up to the microphone once more.

Like the rest of the series, the film is an emotional, quietly told story about music, love and moving forward from the past, as Mafuyu and Ritsuka face what they want from their band and from each other.
