Batman: Gotham Knight

Gotham remains a city where crime has long since become a routine part of daily life, and police officers find themselves caught every day between criminal gangs, corrupt officials and the constant threat of armed clashes. Detectives Crispus Allen and Anna Ramirez receive another assignment involving a standoff between mafia clans trying to divide spheres of influence after a series of murders among crime bosses. During the investigation, the partners gradually realize that what looks like an ordinary shootout between gangs conceals a far more serious conflict.

That conflict involves arms shipments, drug trafficking and ties between criminals and members of the city administration. Allen tries to stick to the law even in the most dangerous situations, while Ramirez is forced to act more harshly, understanding how useless the usual methods prove to be in a metropolis mired in corruption. As the investigation progresses, the detectives encounter murdered witnesses, vanishing informants and constant pressure from police leadership eager to close the case as quickly as possible.
