Interstella5555: The 5tory of The 5ecret 5tar 5ystem

This musical animated film is a unique visual interpretation of Daft Punk's album Discovery, turning each track into a separate event that accompanies the main storyline. The story begins when a band of four alien musicians, incredibly talented and innovative, falls into the hands of an evil and ambitious manager who, by means of a cunning plan, kidnaps them and brings them to Earth. To humans they are nothing more than mysterious beings, but to the manager they are a priceless commodity capable of making him rich and famous.

The musicians find themselves in unfamiliar surroundings, deprived of their freedom and their ability to create, yet they hold on to their hope of rescue. That hope comes from somewhere far away. On the aliens' home planet, in a distant star system, their loyal pilot receives the distress signal the band sent out at the moment of their capture. This pilot, who was part of their journey, is given the most important mission of all: to break through Earth's atmosphere, find the place where they are being held, and free his brothers in music.
