My Neighbors the Yamadas

Nonoko seems to have a knack for landing in the most interesting situations. More than once she has been accidentally left behind at the supermarket, setting off a real adventure as everyone searches for her. Her restless spirit and lively imagination make her life incredibly exciting. Grandma Yamada is a true master of unusual dishes. She is always coming up with something new and surprising, such as a peculiar beef stroganoff. Her culinary experiments can both astonish and delight at the same time, and these kitchen adventures have already become part of family tradition. Noboru, for his part, always tries to keep up the family spirit and brighten his family's days. He takes part in every event and adventure with enthusiasm and passion, doing his best to make them even more fun.
