Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck and Senshi descend again after the dragon fight to bring Falin back for real. The rescue that worked for a moment draws the attention of the dungeon’s ruler and the being that feeds on wishes. Falin is taken deeper. The party follows through levels that act like a living farm, with monsters raised and recycled by rules no one on the surface understands. Meals remain the method that keeps them moving and thinking. New ingredients teach how each floor functions and what it costs to bend those functions. Marcille tests taboo magic to counter the loss and learns that every fix adds to the debt they owe the place. Inspectors from the surface appear and try to shut the route. Shuro’s group crosses paths and forces choices about speed and safety. Records left by an old elf reveal how the dungeon began and why it trades life for plenty. The chase ends at a stronghold where saving Falin requires deciding who controls the dungeon and what it should feed.
