Dirty Pair

Dirty Pair is the 1985 TV anime based on Haruka Takachiho's science fiction novels. In the far future, if you are in serious trouble, you can call the World Welfare Work Association, or WWWA. It sends out highly trained agents called Trouble Consultants to solve problems anywhere in the galaxy.

Its most famous team is Kei and Yuri, officially code-named the Lovely Angels. Kei is a fiery redhead, Yuri a cool-headed brunette, and together with their huge feline companion Mughi they are some of the WWWA's most capable agents.

The catch is that wherever they go, disaster follows. They always get the job done, but the jobs tend to end with destroyed buildings, wrecked starships or worse, which is why everyone calls them the Dirty Pair. The series is an episodic mix of action, comedy and sci-fi adventure, built around the two heroines' bickering, their glamour and the enormous collateral damage they leave behind.
