Soul Eater

In Death City the academy trains Meisters with living Weapons to stop souls from turning into a kishin. Maka fights with Soul, Black Star works with Tsubaki, and Death the Kid uses twin pistols Liz and Patty. Their task is to collect ninety nine evil human souls and then a witch so a partner can become a Death Scythe for Lord Death. A witch named Medusa hides at the school as a nurse and uses Crona and the demon blade Ragnarok to spread black blood and madness. She manipulates events and frees Asura who was sealed beneath the academy. Waves of madness spread and the school sends teams on containment and retrieval missions. Arachne revives and forms Arachnophobia which gathers demon tools such as Brew. Stein begins to lose balance while Marie supports him and Kid chases secrets tied to Eibon. Medusa returns by taking a child host and offers a truce to crush Arachne. After Arachne falls Asura escapes to the moon. Students and teachers launch an assault. Plans fail and Maka faces Asura alone. She rejects fear and releases an anti madness wavelength that breaks his control. The city calms and the class returns to training while the academy rebuilds order.
