High School of the Dead

A sudden outbreak turns people into mindless zombies, and normal life collapses in hours. At Fujimi High School, Takashi Komuro survives the first wave as teachers and students fall, and he ends up fleeing with a small group that keeps growing as they find other survivors. The goal is simple and constantly threatened: get out alive, locate family, and stay mobile while the city burns around them. The dead are only part of the danger. Shortages, panic, and armed strangers force the group to make ugly choices fast, and leadership falls on whoever can act under pressure. Takashi tries to hold the group together while every stop risks another attack, another loss, and another reminder that the world they knew is already gone.
