Kyousuke Kousaka is an ordinary high school student who has long kept his distance from his younger sister Kirino, a model student, track star and teen fashion model. Everything changes when he discovers her secret: Kirino is a devoted otaku with a passion for anime and, above all, little-sister-themed games. Entrusted with her secret, Kyousuke becomes her reluctant confidant, helping her find friends who share her hobby and defending it from their strict parents.

These four episodes form the true end arc of the series. They branch off after the eleventh episode of the TV anime and present an alternative version of how the first season ends. Unlike the good end arc broadcast on television, which was an original ending written for the anime, the true route closely follows the original light novels by Tsukasa Fushimi. In this version, Kirino unexpectedly leaves Japan to study abroad, and Kyousuke has to face just how much his sister's presence has come to mean to him, setting the stage for the story continued in the second season.
