Dragon Crisis!

Ryuuji Kisaragi is an ordinary high school boy whose quiet life is turned upside down when his second cousin Eriko Nanao returns. Almost immediately she drags him into a risky operation against a criminal syndicate that controls the illegal trade in magical relics. During the infiltration the two steal a mysterious case, but instead of the expected artifact they find inside a little girl with unusual crimson eyes. She can barely speak, utters only isolated words and shows a strange attachment to Ryuuji, as if she has known him for a long time. It soon becomes clear that she is a real red dragon, possessing destructive power and enormous value to many organizations.

The girl is named Rose, and Ryuuji takes responsibility for her safety, using his power as a relic handler to protect her from her pursuers. At the same time he begins to learn about dragons, ancient seals and a hidden world ordinary people know nothing about. Gradually, members of various clans, magical families and international organizations gather around Ryuuji, all seeking to use Rose's abilities for their own ends: some want to abduct the dragon for experiments, others hope to unravel the secrets of the ancient relics tied to the origins of such creatures.
