Kowloon Generic Romance

Reiko Kujirai works as a real estate agent at Wong Loi Realty inside a dense, neon-soaked Kowloon Walled City. She is drawn to her senior colleague Hajime Kudo, then finds a photo that shows he once had a fiancée with her exact face. The discovery exposes missing memories and a second «Kujirai» that others seem to recognize. Daily errands and apartment showings start to feel staged as odd rules and recurring symbols follow her through arcades and rooftops. Kudo keeps his distance while protecting pieces of the past he refuses to explain. A powerful pharmaceutical conglomerate takes interest in Reiko, a quiet waiter from the Goldfish Tea House knows more than he says, and newcomers thread clues toward rumors of another Kowloon. Reiko keeps working beside Kudo while tracing her history and testing whether the feeling between them can hold when the city’s design and her identity are finally named.
