A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives

A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives is based on the light novel series Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi by Takaya Kagami. High school student Taito Kurogane has been unusually sleepy lately, and his nights are haunted by the same strange dream of a female vampire who tells him she has given him her poison. Sometimes he even thinks he hears her voice while he is awake, but he dismisses it as nothing more than a vivid fantasy.

Everything changes when Taito survives an accident that should have killed him. In its aftermath his world shifts drastically, and he realizes that his dreams were far more real than he ever imagined. The vampire is Himea Saitou, a girl bound to Taito by a promise from his past that he has long forgotten, and her poison has made him something more than human. Drawn into a hidden world of supernatural beings and dangerous conflicts, Taito must uncover the truth about his lost memories and the bond he shares with Himea, in a story that mixes action, mystery and romance with a dark, bittersweet edge.
