My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax! OVA

After the turbulent events at Sobu High, when the Service Club went through the prom, confessions and painful growing up, it seems the story of Hachiman Hikigaya, Yukino Yukinoshita and Yui Yuigahama should finally settle down. But in this world feelings never fit simple formulas, and an ordinary meeting after school can expose what the characters have hidden even from themselves. Hachiman, used to solving other people's problems through self-sacrifice and sharp wit, now faces a harder task: not running from his own desires and not breaking the fragile bond with Yukino that is only beginning to take shape.

One day the two leave the club early to meet Yukino's mother and her older sister Haruno at an upscale restaurant, where every glance is a reminder of the weight of family expectations. Meanwhile, Yui, Iroha and Komachi gather at a café to talk about Hachiman, cautiously circling a sore subject no one dares to name. Yui's smile is still warm, but behind it lies a feeling that has not disappeared just because someone else was chosen. Adapting stories from the bonus novels released with the third season, this OVA is a quiet epilogue to the series.
