Blood Lad OVA

This OVA of Blood Lad was released bundled with the tenth limited-edition volume of Yuuki Kodama's manga and serves as a bonus episode to the TV series.

The story is set in the world of Blood Lad, where a Demon World exists alongside our own. Staz Charlie Blood is a vampire and the boss of a territory in the Demon World, but unlike his bloodthirsty peers he is a devoted otaku obsessed with Japanese manga, anime and video games. His life changes when Fuyumi Yanagi, an ordinary Japanese high school girl, wanders into his turf through a dimensional rift. Staz is thrilled to meet a real human from the country he idolizes, but before he can get to know her, Fuyumi is killed and turns into a ghost.

Feeling responsible, Staz vows to find a way to bring her back to life, a quest that pulls him into conflicts with other demon bosses, his own family and the secrets of the Demon World. The OVA returns to Staz, Fuyumi and the rest of the cast for one more adventure beyond the TV episodes.
