Bartender

Hidden in the backstreets of Tokyo's Ginza district is Eden Hall, a quiet bar run by Ryuu Sasakura, a prodigy bartender said to mix the most incredible cocktails anyone has ever tasted, so remarkable that they are called "the glass of the gods." Yet not just anyone can find Eden Hall. Rather than people finding the bar, it is said, Eden Hall finds those who need it.

The customers who wander through its doors come from all walks of life, and each carries a burden of their own: doubts about work, regrets about the past, troubled relationships or difficult decisions. Sitting at the counter, they talk with Ryuu, who listens carefully and always knows the ideal cocktail to console and guide each distraught soul.

Based on the manga by Araki Joh and Kenji Nagatomo, Bartender is a calm, episodic drama in which each story centers on a different visitor, a different drink and the history behind it, showing how a single glass and a few kind words can help people see their lives in a new light.
