Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch

Lucia, the mermaid princess of the North Pacific, one of the seven mermaid kingdoms, sets out for the human world in search of her magical pearl, which gives a mermaid's voice its special power and makes her songs magical. Some time ago, however, Lucia entrusted her pearl to a boy named Kaito, whom she saved when he fell overboard from a ship one night and with whom she fell in love. Now she must recover this precious talisman to preserve both her magic and her love.

Taking on the guise of an ordinary Japanese schoolgirl, Lucia Nanami, she meets Kaito again, now a surfer and a well-known heartbreaker. She must not only win back her pearl but also win his heart once more, all while avoiding turning into sea foam, the fate of a mermaid who reveals her true identity to a human. Meanwhile, a growing evil force threatens the mermaid kingdoms, and Lucia must use the power of music to protect herself and her world while searching for her happiness.
