Oni no Hanayome

Yuzu Shinonome grows up in a Japan where humans and ayakashi coexist, and being chosen as an ayakashi’s bride is seen as a blessing. For Yuzu it becomes humiliation, because her family praises her younger sister Karin, the bride of a powerful fox spirit, while Yuzu is treated like disposable help. When Yuzu’s boyfriend abandons her to chase Karin and a fight at home ends with Yuzu being blamed and hurt, she finally runs. In that raw moment she meets Reiya Kiryuin, the next head of a top-ranked ayakashi clan, who looks at her like he has been waiting all along. Reiya declares Yuzu to be his bride, dragging her out of a life where she was unwanted and into a world of status, danger, and a devotion she does not yet know how to accept.
