Pani Poni Dash!

Momotsuki Academy's Class 1-C has a new homeroom teacher, and she is anything but ordinary. Rebecca Miyamoto, better known as Becky, is a child prodigy who has already graduated from MIT, yet she is only eleven years old. Her intellect may be second to none, but managing a room full of temperamental teenage girls is a challenge no degree prepared her for, and her students are rarely inclined to take a pint-sized teacher seriously.

The class is a gallery of eccentrics, from the hyperactive Himeko Katagiri to the cool and aloof Rei Himuro, and the school around them is no saner. Meanwhile, a crew of bumbling aliens orbiting the Earth keeps watch over the academy, adding their own brand of nonsense to the mix.

Produced by studio SHAFT under director Akiyuki Shinbo, Pani Poni Dash! is a fast-paced gag comedy packed with absurd humor, pop-culture parodies and tiny background jokes, following Becky as she tries to earn the respect of her students while surviving the daily chaos of Momotsuki Academy.
