Nobunagun

Space monsters have already destroyed countless worlds and now turn their gaze toward Earth. To counter the threat, mysterious benevolent forces revive the abilities of great figures of the past so they can help fight the alien invasion. The process happens spontaneously, and every newly discovered E-Gene holder is taken in by a secret organization, DOGOO, which trains them and sends them into battle. The powers of these reborn heroes are easy to guess from their code names: Newton controls gravity, Gandhi creates a powerful barrier, and Jack the Ripper fights exactly as you would imagine. Yet the attack on Taiwan comes as a surprise and is so well planned that defeat seems inevitable, until help arrives at the last moment.

Shio Ogura, an odd girl and secret military otaku, keeps to herself even in high school and admires her classmate Kaoru Asao from afar. During a school trip to Taiwan everything changes: monsters are everywhere, Asao's life is in danger, and Shio is ready to burst into tears of despair. At that moment a calm, commanding voice rings out inside her: now we kill them all. Oda Nobunaga has awakened within Shio, and his weapon of choice is a hand-held machine gun resembling a minigun that fires in three directions at once.
