K-On!: Ura-On!

K-On!: Ura-On! is a collection of short bonus episodes included on each of the seven Blu-ray volumes of K-On!, the beloved slice-of-life series by Kyoto Animation.

The main series follows Yui Hirasawa, a carefree girl with no particular hobbies who joins the Light Music Club at Sakuragaoka Girls' High School to save it from being shut down, despite never having played an instrument. Together with the shy bassist Mio Akiyama, the energetic drummer Ritsu Tainaka and the gentle, wealthy keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki, and later the serious younger guitarist Azusa Nakano, she spends her days drinking tea, eating cake, goofing around and, every now and then, actually practicing music.

Ura-On!, meaning roughly "behind the scenes of K-On!", offers small, playful extras in the same easygoing spirit, adding light comedic moments and a little more time with the club members and their everyday surroundings for fans who picked up the home video release.
