Afro Samurai

In a world where power is decided by two headbands, the one who wears Number 1 stands above everyone, and only the holder of Number 2 is allowed to challenge him. Afro watches as a man named Justice kills his father in front of him and takes the Number 1 headband, leaving Afro with a single purpose that never cools down. Years later Afro carries the Number 2 headband and cuts his way through ambushes, mercenaries, and hunters who are all allowed to come for him because Number 2 has no protection. Each fight brings him closer to Justice, but it also drags up the past he tried to bury, including people who knew him before revenge became his whole identity.
