Naruto x UT

Naruto x UT is a short piece of all-new animation created for a UNIQLO promotion in Japan in 2011 and released on DVD with an exclusive version of Aqua Timez's song Mayonaka Orchestra. It focuses on the rivalry between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, starting from their days at the Ninja Academy. It shows their basic training, their missions and their time together on the same team. In their early years a rivalry forms between them, rooted in their differences in ability and goals, and individual scenes revisit memorable moments, including the accidental kiss that happened when they collided.

Next come the team's missions outside the village, where they face enemies and dangerous situations, and Naruto's training in the Land of Waves, where he hones his skills and learns new techniques. The Chunin Exams bring a series of trials, from the written test to team challenges and individual fights. Sasuke displays his growing power using the abilities of his clan, while Naruto searches for his own path. Alongside this, scenes of the loneliness each of them endured as a child reveal how it shaped their behavior and choices. The final part moves to the Valley of the End, where the two prepare to fight each other.
