Haré+Guu

Haré is a cheerful boy who lives a happy life in a village in the jungle with his mother, Weda. Everything changes with the arrival of Guu, a mysterious pink-haired girl who seems to be an orphan and whom Weda takes in. Haré quickly realizes, however, that Guu is not just an ordinary girl but a creature with strange powers and a habit of swallowing everything in sight, including people and animals. Inside her stomach lies an entire world of its own.

Guu's sarcastic personality and her tendency to meddle in other people's lives cause the most trouble for Haré in particular. One moment she is sweet and harmless, the next she is sullen and grumpy, and her presence brings new and unexpected twists into life in the jungle. Since no one else seems to notice how bizarre she really is, it falls to poor Haré, the only sane person around, to keep Guu out of trouble and survive the endless chaos she leaves in her wake. The result is an absurd, fast-paced comedy built on Haré's frantic reactions and Guu's deadpan antics.
