Hayate the Combat Butler! Cuties

Hayate the Combat Butler! Cuties takes place after the events of Hayate the Combat Butler! Can't Take My Eyes Off You. Hayate Ayasaki, Nagi Sanzenin and Maria return to their daily lives, divided between the Sanzenin Mansion and the Violet Mansion, an old apartment building where Nagi and her household now live along with a group of tenants.

Hayate is a hard-luck boy who was sold off by his deadbeat parents to cover their gambling debts and ended up working as the butler of Nagi, a wealthy, sheltered and rather lazy young heiress. Thanks to his extraordinary athleticism, endurance and devotion, he is a nearly superhuman butler, though his kindness tends to make girls fall for him while he remains completely oblivious.

Unlike the previous seasons, Cuties is structured around its heroines: each episode puts the spotlight on one of the girls in Hayate's life, such as Nagi, the student council president Hinagiku Katsura, the ordinary but persistent Ayumu Nishizawa or the idol Ruka Suirenji. The result is a lighthearted romantic comedy full of the franchise's trademark parody and gags.
