Hyakko

On their first day of high school, the shy Ayumi Nonomura and the taciturn Tatsuki Iizuka get lost in the immense labyrinth of Kamizono Academy. Wandering the empty corridors and trying to find their way in this new world of duties and responsibilities, they run into two girls whose energetic approach and enthusiasm jolt them right back into reality: the irresistible force of nature Torako Kageyama and her best friend Suzume Saotome. Under the influence of Torako and Suzume, Ayumi and Tatsuki begin to see what interesting challenges and adventures may await them in this new chapter of their lives.

Together with their classmates, led and sometimes pushed along by Torako, they dive into the world of school and personal problems, which unfolds before them like a giant maze full of unexpected turns and unpredictable events. But along with these difficulties comes the realization that they are not alone in their worries and troubles. With the help of their new friends, they start to work through things that once seemed complicated or incomprehensible, discovering new ways of overcoming obstacles and growing as people – learning to rise to challenges and to find joy in gaining new experiences, at home, at school and on the way to growing up.
