Mononoke The Movie: Chapter II - The Ashes of Rage

A fresh round of unrest spreads through the Ooku as women begin dying in a way nobody can explain, with fear turning routine into paranoia. The Medicine Seller slips into the inner palace again, reading the small lies people tell to survive and the bigger ones they bury to keep their place. Every corridor feels staged, every kindness has a price, and the closer he gets to the truth, the more it looks like the palace itself is feeding something. The Mononoke he hunts is not just a monster in a room, but a knot of grudges, guilt, and obsession that keeps getting passed from one person to the next.
