Pingu in the City

Pingu the penguin and his family decide to leave their quiet, cozy village and move to a huge, bustling city, home to countless penguins with all sorts of occupations. The city is full of bright lights, amazing buildings and a whole world of possibilities. Every corner is alive with sound and activity: penguin architects design impressive skyscrapers, penguin doctors take care of their fellow citizens' health, and penguin musicians fill the streets with melodies.

Full of enthusiasm and curiosity, Pingu decides to get to know the locals and help them with their everyday work. In each episode he tries to join in with a different job, eager to see how it is done and to lend a hand. However, his mischievous side usually gets the better of him, and his attempts to help end up turning into a mess that he then has to put right. A Japanese continuation of the classic Swiss claymation series, Pingu in the City brings the familiar characters into a new setting while keeping the original's spirit: short, wordless comedic stories told through Pingu's expressive gestures and his famous penguin babble, perfect for young viewers and longtime fans alike.
