After their loss to Suzuridani Academy, the girls of the Keishin Academy elementary school basketball team keep working with their coach, Subaru Hasegawa, who is shaping his inexperienced players into a united team able to play in harmony even in tense matches. Tomoka, Airi, Saki, Hinata and Maho practice shooting, passing and defense every day, trying to take their game to a new level. Soon, however, a new challenge appears: a team of fifth graders throws down the gauntlet, eager to prove its own superiority and take over as the leaders of the school.

The rivalry turns into a series of tense matches in which every mistake can cost them victory and every successful play brings them closer to their goal. Subaru carefully builds a strategy, assigns roles, analyzes his opponents' tactics and urges the girls not to give up even when the score is against them. The girls struggle not only with physical exhaustion but also with inner doubts, as competition makes them face their own weaknesses and look for new ways to grow. Hard training, their coach's support and mutual help become the foundation of their progress.
