Secrets of the Silent Witch

Monica Everett can cast without chanting, but speaking in public locks her up. After she slays the Black Dragon of Worgan, fellow Sage Louis Miller pushes her into a covert job guarding second prince Felix. She enrolls at Serendia Academy under the alias Monica Norton, keeps her head down, and even ends up as the student council accountant while her cat familiar Nero scouts the halls. A classmate named Casey stages an accident and plants a magical bomb to kill Felix. Monica rewrites the campus barrier and disables it without witnesses. An exchange event draws Minerva students, an impostor slips in using forbidden body manipulation, and Bernie Jones covers for Monica after she stops the attack. At the Corlapton festival a thief steals the Starweaving Mira, pulling Monica into court shadows while she learns how to stand beside Felix without exposing herself. The term ends with her mission intact and her name still hidden.
