Aqua joins the stage adaptation of Tokyo Blade because the production places him close to people who may know the man behind Ai’s death. The job brings Kana, Akane, Melt, and other young actors into a rehearsal room where personal wounds are hidden under professional pressure. The first problem is the script. Abiko Samejima, the original manga author, rejects the adaptation after seeing how much her work has been changed, while screenwriter Goa is caught between the author, the producer, and the limits of live theater. The conflict almost breaks the project before opening night. Aqua watches the adults negotiate through excuses, pride, and fear, then learns that a performance can only work when the people behind it stop treating the source as property and begin treating it as intent.

When the play finally begins, the stage becomes a place where the actors’ private conflicts surface. Kana faces Akane, who once admired her and now tries to surpass her by studying emotion with dangerous precision. Melt works to repair the shame of his earlier failure and earns his place through effort rather than appearance. Aqua uses acting to force himself into memories of Ai, triggering panic and old grief because the role demands a feeling he has spent years weaponizing. Akane sees enough to understand that Ai was Aqua and Ruby’s mother, and that his search is not only ambition. After Tokyo Blade closes, the trail shifts away from the theater. Ruby begins stepping toward a darker path in the entertainment world, Aqua believes he has found a way to end his revenge, and the twins return to Miyazaki, where the buried past around Ai, Gorou, and Sarina starts coming back into the open.
