Sakamoto Days

Taro Sakamoto used to be the kind of assassin people feared just by hearing his name. He quits, falls in love, starts a family, and ends up running a small neighborhood store, trying to live quietly and never kill again. That peace does not last. A bounty pulls killers back into his life, and old contacts show up with their own orders and grudges. Sakamoto keeps fighting anyway, using ridiculous skill and everyday objects to protect his wife and daughter while looking like a harmless shop owner. Soon he is not alone, because Shin, a telepath who once lived by contracts, sticks around, and Lu, tied to underworld trouble, gets dragged into the chaos as well. The store becomes a tiny fortress where loyalty is tested and survival depends on staying one step ahead of professional murderers.
