In Most City, a small publishing house keeps a struggling magazine alive by printing Monthly Moso Science, a periodical that treats paranormal incidents like real research instead of urban legends. The cramped office is run by an odd little team that survives on deadlines, arguments, and whatever weird story they can chase next. Their routine breaks when a visiting scientist, Goro Sato, drags them into a bigger mystery that the magazine has been obsessed with for years: the so called Mo Continent, said to have sunk long ago along with its inhabitants, the Motarians. What sounds like a fairy tale starts leaving traces in the real world, and the staff realize they are not the only ones hunting for proof. A corporate group called White Pegasus is also searching, focused on collecting scattered objects known as MOParts that are rumored to trigger the continent’s return when gathered. The magazine crew moves from interviews and rumors to fieldwork, following leads that keep turning dangerous, because every new clue attracts people who want control of the discovery rather than the truth. As they chase sightings, artifacts, and contradictions, the line between hoax and hidden history keeps shifting, and the team is forced to decide whether their job is to report the mystery or stop it from being used.
