The Demon Prince of Momochi House

Himari Momochi becomes an orphan young, and when she turns sixteen she receives the one thing that sounds like a stable future: a mysterious inheritance, the Momochi House. Instead of comfort, she finds a mansion sealed off from normal society, sitting on a boundary where the human world presses against the spirit realm. The house is not empty. It is guarded by Aoi Nanamori, a beautiful, unsettling presence who is tied to the place as its «Nue, ” a protector with a monstrous side that makes him both resident and barrier. Himari moves in with the stubborn belief that the house is hers and she will not be chased out, but ownership in this case means responsibility for rules she does not yet understand. Spirits slip through cracks, exorcists and supernatural factions interfere, and Himari is forced to learn fast because hesitation can get her hurt or used. What complicates everything is her bond with Aoi. He is not simply a love interest or a guardian. He is part of the house’s mechanism, and every time Himari pushes closer to the truth, she risks triggering consequences that could break the balance the house maintains.
